Right of Withdrawal / Returns

If you regret your purchase or any product from your order, you can return it and receive a refund. To qualify, make sure you follow our return terms and conditions.

 


Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

-       Unopened and unused

-       In its original packaging, including all accompanying packaging

-       Complete with no pieces missing

-       Returned within 30 days from the date of delivery

-       Note: A standard return is not a claim. For complaints, see the section below

You can start the return process by emailing info@switch-nails.com or using our “self-service” on the website. Include your order number when contacting us.

Once the return process is started, you have 14 days (under the Distance Selling Act) to return the product.

 

How to Return

  1. Create your return label via the website: Click here or request it from customer service.
  2. Send the package using the provided label; the return is prepaid.
  3. Include your order number in the package to match the return to your order.
  4. Once received at our warehouse, we will process your return.

Customer Responsibility:

-       You are responsible for the product until it reaches our returns department, including the risk of loss or damage during return shipping.

-       Pack items securely to prevent damage.

 

Exchanges

-       Exchanges are not available directly through the online store. All exchanges are handled as returns and new purchases.

-       If you used a gift card for the returned product, the amount will be refunded to the gift card.

-       Discount codes used in the original purchase may not apply to the new order.

-       Gift cards cannot be exchanged or refunded.

-       Sale and clearance items follow special terms (see below).

 

Refunds

-       Returns are processed within 10 business days after receipt.

-       Refunds are issued within 30 days of processing the return.

-       Refunds cover only the product cost; original shipping costs are not refunded.

-       Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the purchase.

-       If your payment method has changed, a gift card can be issued instead.

-       Returns that do not comply with our return procedures will not be refunded. Within 5 days of receiving a return rejection email, you can choose to have the product sent back to you at your own cost.  If you do not request the return of the products within said time period, the Customer shall not be entitled to any kind of refund. We may keep or dispose of the product as we see fit.

 

Complaints / Claims

If a product is defective or damaged, this does not count as a standard return but as a claim.

-       Contact us within 30 days of receiving the product to start your claim.

-       Do not return the product before contacting our customer service.

-       According to the Consumer Purchase Act, it is not possible to claim a product based on dissatisfaction as we do not offer a satisfaction guarantee.

Free Returns / Shipping Labels

-       “Free returns” means we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

-       Use the provided label to ensure we cover the return shipping.

-       If you pay for your own shipping, that cost is not refunded.

Special Cases

Sale & Clearance Items

-       Specific return rules may apply.

-       Exchanges are not available.

-       Distance Selling Act applies (14 days from receipt), but return shipping is at your own expense.

Special Return Periods

-       Items purchased between November 20th and December 31st have an extended return period until January 14th, under the same terms.

 

In-store Purchases

Pop-up Stores / Retailers

-       Returns or exchanges must be made at the physical pop-up store or retailer.

-       The retailer is responsible for Switch Nails products while they are being sold and will assist you through their own support or in-store staff.

-       If the pop-up store is open for a limited time, returns are only accepted during that period.

 

 

Switch Nails Flagship Store

-       Purchases made at our Flagship store can be returned to the store or to our warehouse.

-       To be eligible for a free return label you must contact our customer service and provide the receipt of the store purchase.

-       Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
