How to safely remove your Switch Nails

In this guide, we will show you how to remove your press-ons and how to clean away any remaining gluetabs from both your natural nails and the press-on nails.

Removing the press-on nails

Step 1

Take the included orange stick and gently insert the pointed side between the press-on nail and your natural nail from the side.

Step 2

Move the stick back and forth along the edge of the nail to slowly loosen the adhesive.

Work carefully along the sides of the nail.

Step 3

Repeat the same movement on the opposite side of the nail until the press-on nail lifts off easily.

Do not pull or rip the nail off.

Always work slowly and gently to protect your natural nail and keep your press-on nails reusable.

Removing gluetabs from the press-on nails

Step 1

If there is any adhesive left on the inside of the press-on nail, you can easily remove it using the orange stick.

Use the pointed side of the stick and press it gently underneath the adhesive.

Step 2

Twist the stick slightly so the glue residue begins to roll up on the stick.

You can also use the flat side of the orange stick to gently scrape away any remaining adhesive.

Once the residue is removed, the press-on nail is ready to be cleaned and stored for future use.

Removing gluetabs from your natural nails

If there is adhesive left on your natural nails after removing your press-ons, you can easily remove it using our Remover Wipes.

Step 1

Remove the wipe from the package.

Step 2

Place the wipe on your natural nail and gently press it onto the glue residue.

Hold it in place for about 10 to 15 seconds to allow the adhesive to start dissolving.

Step 3

Once the glue begins to dissolve, move the wipe across the nail using small circular motions until the surface of the nail is clean.

Step 4

Try to avoid spreading the dissolved adhesive onto the surrounding skin.

Start near the cuticle area and work your way toward the tip of the nail.

Step 5

Wash your hands thoroughly after the removal process.

Please note: Remover Wipes can affect the surface of the press-on nails.
If you plan to reuse your Switch Nails, make sure to remove all press-on nails before using the wipes on your natural nails.

Once all press-on nails and any remaining adhesive have been removed, your natural nails are ready for their next application.

Before applying a new set of Switch Nails, make sure your hands and nails are clean, free from oils and completely dry
